Hey! My name is Marvin, aka DJ Marvelous Marv, and I'd like to welcome you to my world of music.

Music has been a part of my life since I could walk & talk. Spending summers watching music videos with my big sis (it was our version of fun Haha!!!), grooving to songs on the radio, and taking a keen interest in developing my listening skills with instrumental sounds, has all motivated me to go after my dreams in sound engineering.

Music has always been a part of me and always will be. There's a certain feeling you get when you hear a song that resonates with your conscience and gets your body moving. It's that euphoric feeling of awe when you feel the rhythm touch your soul. Music is a whole universal language. It's a vibe. Essentially, it brings people together and acts as a coping mechanism with various matters of the heart, yielding so many different emotions. It's relatable to so many people around the world, and hearing a song for the first time, whether that's in the car, in your home, or at the club, is an experience within itself. 

Growing up I admired great DJs, like Funk Master Flex, DJ Kid Capri, DJ Premier, DJ Clue and so many others who have definitely put their stamp on the DJ game and continue to exemplify what it means to be versatile. Being a DJ isn't just just about playing a record. It's about learning how to set the tone for the party. You have to be able to sense the vibes and become knowledgeable on how to read the crowd. There's nothing like seeing people happy, singing, dancing, and ultimately, having a good time.
